Karen Lam is passionate about her work as a communications strategist and executive coach. She has coached CEOs and executive clients for over twenty years to communicate their message with impact and authenticity.
Having lived and worked in Europe, Africa, Asia and North America, Karen brings a global perspective to her work. She designs and delivers programs in:

Karen has coached the president or chief executive at companies such as Apple Inc., Adobe, ASP (a Johnson & Johnson company), BEA Systems (now Oracle), Blue Shield of California, The Disneyland Resort, Dresdner RCM Global Investors, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, WindRiver (now Intel), Lenovo Group, NASA, Packard Bell NEC, Taiwan Semiconductor (TSMC), University of California at San Francisco, and In-Q-Tel, the venture capital group for the Central Intelligence Agency.
Other client companies Karen has trained recently include: Accenture, Intel, Cisco, Texas Instruments, Sun Microsystems, IBM, AT&T, Qualcomm, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation, J.P. Karen led the communications training practice for Burson-Marsteller, one of the world’s largest public relations firms, in the Greater China region in Asia. She also served as Senior Training Consultant at American Express International. She began her career teaching in universities in Asia and the United States.
Karen holds an M.A. in Linguistics from the University of Montana and a B.A. in Literary Studies from the University of Toronto. She is fluent in several dialects of Chinese and is a student of French, German and Spanish.
